Immediately following the Bagel Meeting: Sunday, September 20, 2009
Pursuant to Section V.l of the Bylaws of the Westside Club, the House Committee has set Sunday, September 20, 2009 to hold the Annual Election Meeting of the General Membership. The meeting will be held immediately after the 10:30 AM (Bagel) meetings (approximately 11:45 AM). The purpose of the meeting is to vote on candidates for the House Committee. Six (6) of the 11 Committee positions are up for election this year.
The Nominations Committee, which is composed of Bobby C., Anita S. and Kim L., currently is developing a list of qualified candidates that will be presented to the House Committee at its next meeting, September 7, 2009, to confirm that the nominees meet the requirements for House Committee membership. Thereafter, the list of nominees will be posted on the Westside Club activities bulletin board and the Club’s website, and ballots will be mailed to the Members. Only Members in good standing are permitted to vote. Members may either vote in person at the Annual Election Meeting, or submit a written ballot by mail or in person at the Club prior to the election. Members may also write in their own candidates on the ballot.
